Terms of use

Draft — pending counsel review. These terms describe how Orijin and WRaidio work during the invite-only beta. They are not final legal text. Bracketed items are placeholders.

What Orijin is

Orijin is a platform where creators manage their artists, releases and rights, and WRaidio is its radio service, where listeners hear approved music on scheduled stations. The service is an invite-only beta: features may change or stop, and data may be reset. [Beta availability and warranty disclaimer: pending counsel.]

Accounts

  • Anyone may listen to WRaidio without an account. Accounts are created only by accepting an invitation; there is no open sign-up.
  • You must be 18 or older and confirm this when you accept your invitation.
  • Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, including under the repeat-infringer policy below.

Listening

WRaidio streams scheduled programming for personal listening. Do not record, copy, redistribute or interfere with the streams, or try to get around our access controls or rate limits. How we record listening is explained in our Privacy notice.

AI-generated music

Much of the music on WRaidio is made with AI tools, and some artists are AI or human-and-AI personas rather than people. Creators must tell us how each track was made, and artist pages say whether an artist is human, AI or both. Do not present AI-generated material as made solely by a human.

Creators

  • Before you submit a release for a profile, the current Creator License must be accepted for that profile in the Studio. [Relationship between these terms and the Creator License: pending counsel.]
  • The information you give about your releases, contributors, rights and AI use must be accurate. Rights claims you enter are your declarations; we do not decide who owns a work.
  • Nothing is published or played without review. Submissions are checked by automated tools, may be assessed by an AI model, and are decided by human reviewers. A release plays only when it has a complete provenance record and an active permission.
  • [Ownership of your material and the licence you grant us: pending counsel.]

Comments and conduct

Comments must not be spam, harassment, hateful, or infringe anyone's rights. Anyone signed in can report a comment, track, release, profile or station. Moderators may hide comments that break these rules and may restore them; each action is logged with a reason.

If you believe something on Orijin infringes your rights, send a notice through Copyright and takedowns. Material named in a notice is blocked from playback while we review it. Each upheld takedown records a strike; an account with 3 or more active strikes within 365 days is treated as a repeat infringer and may be suspended or terminated.

Privacy

Our Privacy notice explains what we collect, the listening bases (essential, consented and Global Privacy Control), how long we keep listening data and how to change your setting.

We may update these terms; we will show the date of the latest version here. [Notice of changes, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law and dispute resolution: pending counsel.]
